Q. How much does it cost to have a professional moving company move you?
A. Probably not as much as you think! Whether you are moving across Kansas or moving across the country we are very competitive and normally considerably less than the “big” national companies and our quality is second to none. However because there are so many factors it is best to just call and we can give you an accurate price.
Q. Is there a way to know what I should expect from my moving company?
A. Absolutely! We have gone to great lengths to make sure we are not only professional but current with the laws and requirements of our industry. Q. How much do I need to pack?
A. You can pack as much or as little as you prefer. The more packing that you do the less the final bill will be. Do keep in mind that our guys can dolly boxes very quickly. If they are the same size of boxes and stacked in a garage or another accessible area at about 4′ high it will reduce your cost. Loose miscellaneous items greatly slow the loading process.
Q. What about the hanging clothes in my closet?
A. The simplest solution is to purchase a wardrobe box. It allows for about 2′ of hanging clothes. Measure the width of your closet and plan accordingly. Ask ahead of time for prices and let the office know how many if any wardrobe boxes you will need.
Q. Do I need to take the things out of my dressers, chests, nightstands ect..
A. Only if you store small loose items that could fall out when standing on end or if you store heavy items such as books ect.. Normal clothing items are not a problem.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes we are insured.
Q. Do I need to make a deposit for my move?
A. Yes, we do require a small deposit to save a date.
Q. Do I need to be there while you move me?
A. Yes, it is important to have someone there to direct us and to do a final walk through to make sure we have everything.
Q. Will you bill me or do I need to pay the driver?
A. We require payment at the completion of your move unless other arrangements are made with the office prior to the move.
